Content and monetization rules · Version 2 · Updated and effective September 24, 2026. Originally effective September 22, 2026. Operator: Rory LLC.
This Acceptable Use Policy supplements the Terms of Service. It applies to all creators, supporters, and other users of Rory, including creator profiles, photos, galleries, gift listings, messages, audio, embedded media, hub links, linked destinations, and content monetized through Rory even when hosted elsewhere.
The following content and activities are prohibited on Rory. You must not use Rory to create, upload, host, distribute, promote, link to, sell access to, solicit payment for, or otherwise monetize them. These prohibitions apply whether content is free or paid, public or private, and whether hosted on Rory or on a third-party service. Tips, coins, gifts, subscriptions, and payment links must not be used to fund or obtain prohibited content or services.
Sexually explicit content is prohibited, including pornography, depictions of explicit sexual acts, nudity, and sexualized text, images, audio, or video intended for sexual gratification. Adult live chat, sexual services, and paid access to such content are also prohibited. These restrictions apply to real, illustrated, digitally altered, and AI-generated content. Linking to an external adult-content page does not create an exception.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. Rory also prohibits child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexualization of anyone under 18, grooming, and requests or offers to create, obtain, distribute, or pay for such material. These prohibitions include real, digitally altered, and AI-generated depictions, as well as links to prohibited material hosted elsewhere.
Do not download, copy, attach, forward, or redistribute suspected CSAM to make a report. Use the reporting form to identify its location and provide non-graphic details. Suspected illegal activity is escalated for handling and any reporting required by applicable law.
Violent extremism is prohibited, including terrorist or violent-extremist recruitment, propaganda, fundraising, and material that promotes, encourages, instructs, or celebrates terrorism or unlawful violence. You must not use Rory to threaten violence, recruit for violent-extremist activity, or solicit or transfer support for it.
Hate speech is prohibited. This includes content that dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected or immutable characteristics.
Intellectual-property or proprietary-rights infringement is prohibited, including unauthorized distribution of copyrighted photos, videos, music, software, leaked albums, or access credentials. Only monetize material you own or are authorized to use.
Fraud, impersonation, harassment, extortion, unlawful goods or services, and attempts to evade payment-provider restrictions are also prohibited. Creator payment eligibility does not imply content approval.
Tips must support lawful creator content or services and cannot be a substitute for personal peer-to-peer transfers, money laundering, prohibited sales, or cash-out arrangements. Do not represent creator support as tax-deductible charitable giving unless independently authorized and legally eligible. Rory Coins are platform virtual goods, not cryptocurrency; fans cannot cash out or transfer coin balances to other fans.
Anyone, including nonmembers and rights holders, can use Report content. Identify the creator’s Rory URL, the affected content or external URL, the reason, and a contact email. Copyright notices should also include the information required in the Terms’ DMCA section. The existing DMCA process remains available.
Reports enter a restricted staff review queue. Staff assess the evidence and context, restrict public access and/or payments when warranted, preserve necessary evidence, and record the decision. A report alone does not establish guilt. Automated domain matches can restrict content and payments pending human review; they are not final findings.
Confirmed violations are recorded in account case history. Staff consider severity, previous confirmed findings, remediation, and attempts to evade restrictions. Repeated violations can result in loss of monetization, removal of content, suspension, or permanent account termination. Severe abuse may lead to immediate restrictions or termination without prior warning. New accounts cannot be used to evade enforcement. Repeat copyright infringers may be terminated in appropriate circumstances under the Terms’ repeat-infringer policy.
Financial restrictions do not erase ledger history or automatically forfeit legitimate balances; obligations are handled under applicable law and payment-provider requirements.
Account notices and the reporting form provide routes to request review. Include the notice/case reference and why you believe the decision is mistaken. Appeals of a case must be handled by an independent authorized reviewer through the case workflow. Restoring content does not automatically release separate financial or other case restrictions.
Automated systems are imperfect and may miss violations or flag lawful material. Staff review and reports remain essential. Rory does not claim that all images, video, audio, or external pages have been automatically classified or reviewed. Content-screening providers are described as active only after integration and verification. Suspected illegal activity is escalated for handling and any reporting required by applicable law; there is no promise of universal real-time detection.
